Privacy policy
Last updated: July 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Habit Tap may collect, use, and disclose personal information when you visit this website, communicate with us, or use future Habit Tap products and services.
1. Current product status
Habit Tap is currently a prototype in development. This website is a product preview. The waitlist and contact forms shown on this local prototype do not transmit or store submissions on a Habit Tap server.
2. Information the launched service may collect
If Habit Tap launches with the features described on this site, information may include account details such as your name and email address; your selected habit, check-ins, streaks, and progress; verification photos you choose to submit; messages and activity shared with your habit group; and basic device, diagnostic, and security information needed to operate the service.
3. How information may be used
Information may be used to provide and secure your account, record and verify check-ins, display progress, connect you with a habit group, support users, improve product reliability, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Habit Tap will not sell personal information.
4. Verification photos and group sharing
The product concept uses a quick photo for AI-assisted verification. Before launch, Habit Tap will specify how photos are processed, how long they are retained, which service providers are involved, and what is visible to group members. Users will be told clearly before a photo is uploaded or shared.
5. Service providers and disclosure
Habit Tap may use carefully selected providers for hosting, authentication, analytics, communications, AI processing, and security. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transaction with appropriate safeguards.
6. Retention and security
Personal information will be retained only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in the final launch policy. Habit Tap intends to use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, but no internet service can promise absolute security.
7. Your choices
The launched service is expected to provide ways to access, correct, or delete account information and control group participation. Available rights may vary by location. Privacy requests can be sent to the support email below.
8. Children
Habit Tap is not intended for children under 13, and the service will not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate authorization.
9. Policy updates
This policy will be updated before any public app launch to reflect the service’s actual technology and data practices. Material changes will be identified by a revised effective date and, when appropriate, an additional notice.
10. Contact
Questions or privacy requests may be emailed to olivernasatir@gmail.com.
This page is an informational prototype and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before a public product launch.
